This guideline gives information about how to add Download button to the Shopify's confirmation email/Refund email which is sent to your customer. Since Shopify does not allow apps to automatically update this, you need to manually insert the code, using instructions below:

Step 1:

In our app, select Settings => Download buttons, and the button you wish to add:

Step 2:

Hit Edit to customize the button to your liking, then this copy icon to copy to code:

Step 3:

In your Shopify admin page, go to Settings -> Notifications -> Customer confirmations:

Select the proper email template you want to update (we will select the Order Confirmation in this case) Under Order processing, click Order confirmation

Paste the code from Step 1 onto Email Body (HTML), normally right before tag at the bottom:

Click Save to finish.

Then you can make a test order on Shopify to see what it really looks like.

To easily add a Download Invoice/Download Refund button to Order detail page within Customer Account, please follow the instructions here:

Go to Download buttons menu within our app's Settings, and click on the proper Enable button

or you can go to App Embeds tab under Themes customize

Enable the button(s) that you want to add, and customize it further to your liking

Hit Save so the changes are updated

To test it out, go to your Online Store, login to an account, and hit on an Order to view the detail, you should see the button there

Since this button is added using our theme extension, it is automatic, and might not work perfectly with your theme. In such case, you could consider the manual option, by manually adding the code to your theme. The instructions can be found HERE

FIRST OPTION: Adding the button to Order Detail page

Step 1: In our app, select Settings => Download Download => Edit option on the sidebar:

Our app uses existing Shopify gift card products in your store, so if you already have some, you don't have to create new ones.

In case you wish to do so, here is how to create gift card product, right on Shopify admin.

Go to Products -> Gift Cards tab, and click on the Add Gift Card product button
Fill in all the necessary details, in which:

Media: The list of images for your customers to select as gift card image
Denominations: The list of pre-made gift card values

Customers cannot using discount or gift code to buy another gift card product

This update will help your store minimizing revenue loss, double redemption and unused balance.

Gift cards are no more taken into account for free shipping.

In this version, the gift card product value will not be counted in the total order amount, which still happened in the previous version. We will go through an example to better understand this. In this scienario, a merchant has set up a rule for free shipping: If the total order amount is over 70$, the free shipping will apply to that order. This creates a gap when your shipping costs are based on total cart value. If a customer buy a normal product with a value of 60$ and a gift card product with a value of 20$, at this point, the total order amount is 80$, while the actual value of the order without the gift card product is only 60&, but the order still qualifies for free shipping. It means that the gift cards in the cart are taken into account for free shipping. In the new version of VIFY gift card product, our app can completely prevent this case f
