How gift card email works vs Shopify email
By default, whenever a gift card code is generated and the customer is assigned to it, Shopify will send an email to the customers.
On our app, we also send customers an email when our gift card product is purchased.
If you wish to change this behavior, please go to Settings -> Gift Card Email tab
Gift Card assignment enabled: Gift card once purchase is assigned to recipient -> Shopify email will be sent
Email automation enabled: Our gift card email is sent automatically everytime
Set that up as you wish to.
